Wines

Simply… because we want to put the effort into wine selection
and keep our organisational costs to a minimum.

French… because we know the quality and the ambitions of the
growers to still improve against the new world wines.
Our wines are great value, the proof is in the tasting … enjoy.

Cave de la Tour du Roy
An eloquent sparkling prestige wine. Hand picked harvest with
a delicate pressing. Drink now or put down for several years.
150,000 bottle production. The cave in Cave de la Tour, really
is a cave under the city of St. Emilion. The natural under ground
conditions of 12 °C and 90% humidity is perfect for the sparkling
wines from this producer since 1886.

Domaine Les Mazes
Bernard & Dorothee Bouchet, Languedoc. Situated near
Mougual between Montpellier and the Camargue. Les Mazes
is only a few minutes from the Mediterranean sea. Dorothee
runs gites accommodation in the old buildings which formally
hosted grape harvest workers. Bernard has moved from
Banking to harvesting. New production technology and hand
picking of grapes is showing great success in this vineyard.

Cave des Grands Grés
Since 1928 the Cave des Grands Grés  has produced wines from two distinctively different terrains. Both ancient alluvial terraces and siliceous pebbles naturally occur within this 550 ha. vineyard, which in turn support a diverse range of vines to allow for the development of some very fine wines.  We have selected a crisp, fruity white and a medal winning forest berry red. Both these wines are suitable to be enjoyed before, during and after dinner.

Domaine Des Bouzons
Claudine and Marc Serguier. 30 hectares, sixth generation on
a plateau overlooking the Rhone Valley. Across the river from
Chateauneuf du Pape enjoying the same terrain and outlook.
Harvest is hand picked. Respect for nature and new technology,
are merged beautifully to produce very fine wines.

Champagne Michel Brocard
Caroline’s great grand-parents with 8 hectares were the first
Champagne growers in Celles-sour-Ource. The 3 grapes of
Cotes des Bars: Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay are
the backbone for these extraordinarily good champagnes.
Maturing time is 1.5 to 4 years, 4 pruning’s. Hand picked
harvest. Absolutely unique Champagnes.
